PARTS SPECIALIST


PARTS SPECIALIST - CONCORD, NH

Chadwick-BaRoss is currently recruiting for an experienced parts counterperson in our Concord, NH location. The Parts Counterperson performs a combination of duties to obtain parts and supplies for heavy-duty equipment customers and in house technicians. Services customers, solicit additional sales and charge out inventory.

 Principal Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Provide customer, factory and vendor support.
  • Process parts order for phone, counter and service sales
  • Service customers by identifying needed parts, using parts catalogs, computer system.
  • Locate and obtain parts
  • Obtain credit releases in accordance with Company Policy
  • Resolve customer invoicing problems
  • Review back order reports and expedite as needed
  • Update price manuals
  • File completed purchase orders in numerical order
  • Assist with yearly physical inventory

 Other Requirements:

  • Perform all other duties as assigned by Parts Manager
  • Participate in specialized training classes
  • Complete all required paperwork
  • Work safely and use safe techniques
  • Utilize computer system to perform data entry and placement of orders
  • Keep counters and parts room neat and clean

Job Requirements:

  • Experience in heavy equipment is preferred.
  • Good communication skills to interact with employees and customers.
  • Knowledge of techniques of receiving, storing, and issuing parts and supplies.
  • Ability to lift and carry moderately heavy weights.
  • Ability to operate basic office equipment such as phone system, computer, fax, and calculator.

HEAVY EQUIPMENT DIESEL FIELD MECHANIC


EXPERIENCED HEAVY EQUIPMENT DIESEL FIELD MECHANICS – NH AND MASS LOCATIONS


CHADWICK-BAROSS, INC., is seeking experienced Heavy Equipment Field Diesel Mechanics. The successful candidates will problem-solve mechanical issues on a full range of heavy duty construction and forestry products. Work responsibilities will include:


•    Machine Inspection and Services
•    Engine and power train repair.
•    Hydraulic diagnostics and repair
•    Service of electrical starting, charging, computer control system diagnostics and repair.
•    Provide exceptional customer service and satisfaction to all customers.
•    Valid Driver’s License Required
•    Various other duties as required.
•    Available for on call service as required.

 Qualifications:
•    2-year technical degree or several years of comparable shop experience
•    2+ years of relevant diesel equipment repair experience preferred
•    Working knowledge of hydraulics, transmissions, undercarriage, track systems, components, electrical, and fuel systems;
•    Positive attitude and desire to work as a team player
•    Written and verbal communication skills
•    Basic computer skills
•    Own mechanic tool set
•    Ability to maintain safe and clean work environment.

PARTS MANAGER


PARTS MANAGER - CONCORD, NH

CHADWICK-BAROSS, INC., a Heavy Equipment Sales and Service Center, has a current opening for a Parts Manager at our Concord, NH location.
The successful candidate will provide leadership for our parts counter and warehouse staff. Our parts department’s objectives are to insure our customers are provided maximum up time from their equipment through the delivery of exceptional customer service. Our belief is that exceptional service leads to profitability and the opportunity for future growth of our customers, the employees, and the Company.

Principal Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Maintain adequate staff to perform all functions of the department
  • Train Staff on required duties
  • Supervise counter and warehouse personnel
  • Supervise warehouse maintenance
  • Provide customer, factory and vendor support
  • Process parts order, place emergency orders, process claims for shortages and damages
  • Resolve customer invoicing problems
  • Review on a weekly/monthly basis reports, review back order reports, and report all shortages.

Other Requirements:

  • Perform all other duties as assigned by Location Manager
  • Participate in specialized training classes
  • Complete all required paperwork
  • Work safely and use safe techniques

IT Desktop Support Specialist


DESCRIPTION OF RESPONSIBILITIES

The IT Desktop Support Specialist will support the desktop computing environment for the corporate office of Chadwick-BaRoss Inc. as well as for remote users and various locations as required. The individual filling this position must have a valid driver’s license and be willing to travel if necessary.  This position will work during the core business hours of 8:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m. or as business needs present.

PRINCIPAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: 

  • Responsible for providing hands on desk-side support to end company users.
  • Responsible for client computing devices through all phases of hardware and software lifecycles.
  • Troubleshoot, configure and repair computer hardware, printers, software, network connectivity and operating systems.
  • Perform responsibilities while providing high level of customer service to end users which include executive support.

EXPERIENCE

  • Minimum of two years of experience in troubleshooting, configuring and repairing computer hardware, printers, software, network connectivity and operating systems.
  • Proficiency with Windows OS and Mac OS is required.
  • Experience supporting mobile devises such as tablets, smart phones, soft phones etc.
  • Excellent communication skills, written and verbal.
  • Excellent teamwork skills required.

EDUCATION

  • Associates Degree in Computer Technology or equivalent experience preferred.

CERTIFICATIONS AND LICENSES

  • A+ or Microsoft certification preferred.
