PARTS SPECIALIST (CONCORD, NH)


PARTS SPECIALIST

Chadwick-BaRoss is currently recruiting for an experienced parts counterperson in our Concord, NH location. The Parts Counterperson performs a combination of duties to obtain parts and supplies for heavy-duty equipment customers and in house technicians. Services customers, solicit additional sales and charge out inventory.

 Principal Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Provide customer, factory and vendor support.
  • Process parts order for phone, counter and service sales
  • Service customers by identifying needed parts, using parts catalogs, computer system.
  • Locate and obtain parts
  • Obtain credit releases in accordance with Company Policy
  • Resolve customer invoicing problems
  • Review back order reports and expedite as needed
  • Update price manuals
  • File completed purchase orders in numerical order
  • Assist with yearly physical inventory

 Other Requirements:

  • Perform all other duties as assigned by Parts Manager
  • Participate in specialized training classes
  • Complete all required paperwork
  • Work safely and use safe techniques
  • Utilize computer system to perform data entry and placement of orders
  • Keep counters and parts room neat and clean

Job Requirements:

  • Experience in heavy equipment is preferred.
  • Good communication skills to interact with employees and customers.
  • Knowledge of techniques of receiving, storing, and issuing parts and supplies.
  • Ability to lift and carry moderately heavy weights.
  • Ability to operate basic office equipment such as phone system, computer, fax, and calculator.

HEAVY EQUIPMENT DIESEL FIELD MECHANIC (ALL LOCATIONS)


EXPERIENCED HEAVY EQUIPMENT DIESEL FIELD MECHANICS


CHADWICK-BAROSS, INC., is seeking experienced Heavy Equipment Field Diesel Mechanics. The successful candidates will problem-solve mechanical issues on a full range of heavy duty construction and forestry products. Work responsibilities will include:


•    Machine Inspection and Services
•    Engine and power train repair.
•    Hydraulic diagnostics and repair
•    Service of electrical starting, charging, computer control system diagnostics and repair.
•    Provide exceptional customer service and satisfaction to all customers.
•    Valid Driver’s License Required
•    Various other duties as required.
•    Available for on call service as required.

 Qualifications:
•    2-year technical degree or several years of comparable shop experience
•    2+ years of relevant diesel equipment repair experience preferred
•    Working knowledge of hydraulics, transmissions, undercarriage, track systems, components, electrical, and fuel systems;
•    Positive attitude and desire to work as a team player
•    Written and verbal communication skills
•    Basic computer skills
•    Own mechanic tool set
•    Ability to maintain safe and clean work environment.

IT DESKTOP SUPPORT SPECIALIST (WESTBROOK, ME)


The IT Desktop Support Specialist will support the desktop computing environment for the corporate office of Chadwick-BaRoss Inc. as well as for remote users and various locations as required. The individual filling this position must have a valid driver’s license and be willing to travel if necessary.  This position will work during the core business hours of 8:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m. or as business needs present.

PRINCIPAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: 

  • Responsible for providing hands on desk-side support to end company users.
  • Responsible for client computing devices through all phases of hardware and software lifecycles.
  • Troubleshoot, configure and repair computer hardware, printers, software, network connectivity and operating systems.
  • Perform responsibilities while providing high level of customer service to end users which include executive support.

EXPERIENCE

  • Minimum of two years of experience in troubleshooting, configuring and repairing computer hardware, printers, software, network connectivity and operating systems.
  • Proficiency with Windows OS and Mac OS is required.
  • Experience supporting mobile devises such as tablets, smart phones, soft phones etc.
  • Excellent communication skills, written and verbal.
  • Excellent teamwork skills required.

EDUCATION

  • Associates Degree in Computer Technology or equivalent experience preferred.

CERTIFICATIONS AND LICENSES

  • A+ or Microsoft certification preferred.

STAFF ACCOUNTANT (WESTBROOK, ME)


The Staff Accountant will work under the direction of the Controller and be responsible for assisting with the preparation of monthly financial reports.  Primary duties include financial reporting; assisting with financial close; account reconciliations; preparation and posting of journal entries; monitoring and reporting of daily cash flow; and other duties deemed necessary to support the accounting function.

Principal Duties and Responsibilities: 

  • Assist with completing timely month-end financial closing
  • Assist with necessary reporting requirements
  • Monitoring and reporting of daily cash flow
  • Assist with annual external audit and closing year-end ledger
  • Record and maintain company fixed asset system
  • Prepare and post standard and general journal entries
  • Reconcile various general ledger accounts monthly
  • Prepare monthly and year-end schedules and analyses
  • Backup support to Accounts Receivables, Payables and Equipment Accountant
  • Corporate annual filing and miscellaneous external reporting
  • Provides support for the operations and co-workers
  • Practice discretion when dealing with confidential or sensitive information

SHOP ASSISTANT (CHELMSFORD, MA)


Chadwick-BaRoss, a growing heavy duty equipment dealership is currently seeking a Shop Assistant at our Chelmsford, MA location. The Service Assistant will be responsible for working closely with Product Support Manager and Shop Foreman to motivate, develop and assist our service technicians as well as provide outstanding service to our customers. Our goal is to maximizing service efficiency while processing accurate and timely service records.

Principal Duties and Responsibilities:
• Assist with daily operations of the branch location including development, evaluation and motivation of the Service Department technicians.
• Assist in maintaining work schedule to ensure customer needs can be met on a timely basis.
• Assist customers in the resolution of complaints regarding equipment service
• Open and view work orders daily.
• Maintain daily work schedule board
• Prepare work orders for close.
• Answer service calls.
• Responsible for daily work and scheduling with respects to our time and labor system to ensure accurate customer invoicing.
• Other various duties as needed.

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities required: 
Successful candidate will have similar experience and be a team player. 
Proficient in Microsoft office, typing skills and able to perform various clerical duties.
Prior Customer Service experience necessary.
Prior experience in the heavy equipment repair field preferred.
Mechanical knowledge, skills and abilities to assist on the shop floor is also preferred.

PRODUCT SUPPORT MANAGER (CARIBOU, ME)


The Product Support Manager is responsible for the overall operation of the Parts and Service Departments including revenue, profit and loss.  Directs a staff of Parts and Service Personnel.  Manages the Parts processes of internal sales, external sales and inventory control. Manages the Service processes of rental repair and maintenance, warranty, and service contract work orders. Interacts with customers to build strong relationships.

Principal Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for daily operations of the branch location including development, evaluation and motivation of Parts and Service Department staff.
  • Employee development and training
  • Establish revenue goals and profitability of the departments and ensure revenue goals are attained.
  •  Monitor work schedule and flow to ensure customer needs can be met on a timely basis.
  • Assist customers in the resolution of complaints

Other Requirements:

  • Perform all tasks as assigned by Branch Manager.
  • Participate in specialized training classes.
  • Complete all required paperwork.
  • Work safely and use safe techniques.

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities required:

  • Prior experience in a heavy equipment dealer organization preferred.
  • Associates degree desired but not necessary depending on experience.
  • Supervisory experience with the ability to delegate and motivate employees.
  • Ability to communicate effectively.
  • Computer literate
